WunderKammer

/ ˈvʊndɐˌkamɐ/

noun

Wunderkammer or curiosity cabinets were collections of rare, valuable, historically important or unusual objects, which generally were compiled by a single person, normally a scholar or nobleman, for study and/or entertainment.

This modern interpretation of a wunderkammer curates a collection of artefacts from the QLD museum’s Discovery Centre, displaying them in a new and unconventional way that draws interest and curiosity from the patrons.

This new display incorporates subtle interactive reactions from the objects, encouraging patrons to discover the artefacts and interactions that can be caused behind the various doors and curtains.
